Session 2
FORGING Phase --
Session Brief
Marcus Hernandez -- Session 2
Marcus is a 22-year-old first-generation college graduate. His family immigrated from Mexico. He graduated with a business administration degree six months ago and is currently working retail while searching for work in finance or management. Last session he committed to two tasks: update LinkedIn by Friday, and log every time he calls himself a burden.

He arrives today saying he is okay, just tired. He has been thinking about last session. The burden log revealed the thought is more frequent than he realized.

Session Clinical Goal Get below the surface of the job search into what it means to be the family's success story -- the weight of collective hope, the shame when the American Dream does not arrive on schedule, and the belief that he is a burden rather than a pioneer on new ground.
Your Practice Goal FORGING first -- every time. Feel before fix. Person before task. When the job search wants to pull you into E, pause and go to F. Each decision point has 3 choices. One or two will feel natural but miss something. The consequence will tell you what and why.
